Library School Students: We Want to Hear from You!
A Call for Poster Presentations
Are you currently enrolled in library school and considering an arts specialization?
Here’s an opportunity to build your résumé, network with experienced art librarians, and broaden your expertise–all in a fascinating city!
The Art Libraries Society of North America’s Southeast Chapter (ARLISSE) invites current library school students to submit poster presentation proposals for our upcoming conference in New Orleans. Our program theme is arts librarianship in the context of the digital age, but we welcome posters on any topic related to art librarianship. The poster session will be a relaxed event, coinciding with a champagne reception in the library of the New Orleans Museum of Art on Friday evening, November 22nd. You do not need to be a member of ARLIS/NA or the Southeast Chapter to submit a proposal.
Please submit your poster title along with a 2-3 sentence description, your contact information, and the name of your school and program, to Kasia Leousis, Architecture and Art Librarian, Auburn University, ksl0008 [at] auburn.edu. The deadline for proposal submissions is Friday, September 6th.
