On behalf of the 2013 Professional Development Travel Award Committee, it is our pleasure to announce our 2013 award recipient is Olivia Miller!

Olivia will be graduating in May 2013 with her MLIS degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and Pasadena will be her first ARLIS/NA conference.

She will be presenting a Topic Talk titled “Power Up! How Can Academic Libraries Collect for Video Game Design Students” at the Art & Design School Division meeting on Saturday. Her presentation stems from her graduate research on the information behavior(s) of video game design students. She is excited to be presenting at the conference and looks forward to continuing her research efforts, contributing to the field of librarianship, and fostering long lasting relationships with her ARLIS/NA colleagues.

Congratulations Olivia!
